Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 ram 1500. While driving 15 mph, the driver's side air bag popped without warning. After the air bag popped, the check engine and air bag warning indicators illuminated. There were no injuries. The contact took the vehicle to richardson chrysler jeep dodge ram (1321 n central expy, richardson, tx 75080, 214-329-0862) and was informed that there was an unknown transmission recall on the vehicle, but nothing in relation to the air bags. The contact associated the failure with nhtsa campaign number: 15v459000 (air bags); however, the vin was not included. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 81,000. |
