Description of the problem | My air bag wiring harness under the seat has been cut due to the seat being moved back and forth. The harness was routed above the track on the seat and over time it got cut and or unplugged as the wire was too short. I have to have the whole system replaced in order to fix this problem. There has been 7 different emails sent to chrysler dodge in michigan with a couple of return responses. I have paid out of pocket and time to have this issue try to be resolved on local level and now it has gone far beyond what i can do and needs to be escalated as this is a huge safety problem. The air bag harness not being connected will cause it not to deploy during an accident or maybe malfunction and deploy during driving. This is a manufacture defect and needs to be handled. *ln *js |
