Description of the problem | While driving the vehicle on the highway, it lost power and shut off. Had it towed to a mechanic and they said my valves, lifters, and camshaft were damaged. The truck only has 110,000 miles on it. When the truck lost power, it would have caused an accident, lucky though i was able to pull over in enough time, before another vehicle could hit me. This seems to be a common thing, with these trucks, the mechanic can't replace the pieces because of out of stock, so he wants to replace the whole engine. This issue needs to be investigated, before someone does get into an accident. |
