Description of the problem | Truck has 84k miles and suddenly has p0303 code for misfire. Immediately took to mechanic. So far valve and lifter have been replaced, but problem still exhists. Most likely a worn down cam lobe from the bad lifter, so now im without a vehiclefor at least 3 weeks that i still owe 20k on. I cant believe the parts quality and engineering are so poor that this truck doesnt even have 90k on it. To top it off, the manufacturer has stated there are thousands on back order which tells me this is a very very common problem. I have come across many, many complaints stating they have the same exact problem with such low miles and ironically our truck is just out of warranty. |
