Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 ram 1500. While the vehicle was idling in the park position, the engine inadvertently shut off and the air bag, throttle control, trailer brake, check engine, and other warning indicators illuminated. The contact, a certified chevrolet independent mechanic, diagnosed that the fuse block opened up and caused the power train relay to shut down. The fuse block needed replacement. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer and dealer were not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 57,730. |
