Description of the problem | Loud ticking noise caused by lifter/camshaft malfunction. Truck loses power. While driving on highway, truck started misfiring (cylinder 3). Had to put on hazard flashers and drive at severely reduced speeds for 125 miles to get home. This is a major problem with the hemi engine. Cannot get lifters due to supply and demand issues. If you can find lifters, the prices are outrageous. Dodge dealer. States there are more than 10,000 lifters on back order. Please, please, please investigate. We may have to let our truck go back to the bank as we cannot drive it but still owe 20k!!! Please for the sake of thousands of affected dodge owners, do something!!! |
