Description of the problem | Fuel pump failing intermittently. Mechanic diagnosed a bad fuel pump relay on the tipm. I have found this is a very common problem and other chrysler products with same issue have been recalled but the ram trucks with the identical part and problem have not been recalled. Failure of fuel pump while driving could cause vehicle to stall with possibility of crash causing injury or death. So far the fuel pump failure has only happened when starting but i have read on forums of failure during driving. |
