Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 ram 1500. While driving 60 mph, the vehicle jerked, lunged forward, and lost power without warning. The contact managed to veer the vehicle to the shoulder of the road. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the fuel pump relay failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. Bill luke chrysler jeep dodge ram (2425 w camelback rd, phoenix, az 85015) was contacted and stated that the vin was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 166,000. |
