Description of the problem | A/c evaporator coil went bad and released the freon inside the vehicle since this is in the dash area inside of the truck cab. The release was over time and was just repaired. Replacement of the evaporator coil, new freon, heater core (was suggested to replace due to the access and ease to replace an item that would go out next most likely) and the valve - a/c. My understanding is that there is no recall. Total cost was just under $2100. |
