Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 1500. While driving 35 mph, the contact heard a loud knocking sound underneath the vehicle. The contact coasted the vehicle to the side of the road, inspected the vehicle, but did not find a failure. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the bolts to the manifold were detached on both sides and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was later taken to 1-10 chrysler dodge jeep ram (located at 79200 verner rd, indio, ca 92203, (760) 345-1000). The dealer informed the contact that the vehicle was not under warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the vin was not included in a recall. No further assistance was offered and the contact was referred to nhtsa. The approximate failure mileage was 119,833. bf consumer stated i had computer components (recalled) replaced due to the shifter coming out of gear. I feel that caused transmission damage which i had notified 1-10 chrysler dodge about. Nothing has been done about the transmission at this time. I had the manifold and the bots replaced.jb
