Description of the problem | 5. 7l hemi lift/can failure!!!!! I am a ram owner and have had some trouble with my 2014 ram 1500 at around 135,000 miles my engine started to tap in a rithum and was getting louder by the day. Did a little research and found that a lot of folks are having a problem with lifter collapsing and destroying the cam. Took my truck to the dealer and was told exactly what i had read about a lot of folks saying they had the same issue with there hemi. Not only in the ram models but jeep grand cherokee models and challengers as well equipped with the hemi engine as well. This repair cost roughly 3500. 00 or more to have repaired. And chrysler should help cover the cost on repairs. I am very upset with chrysler products and at this time may never own another chrysler product. |
