Description of the problem | Due to the ecodiesel settlement program, i allowed fca to update the ecm to meet their requirements for the settlement. After the update, my truck is dangerously slow from a standing start. I never know if the truck will accelerate as i merge into traffic. Sometime it is barely adequate but most of the time there is a 2 to 4 second delay before the turbo kicks in (around 2,000 rpm) and then there is a strong turbo leap because my foot is buried in the floor trying to get the truck to move. I have almost been t-boned or rear-ended several times crossing streets and merging into traffic. This is dangerous and fca told me there isn't anything that can be done because the truck didn't show any error codes. |
