Description of the problem | I've had the vehicle for two weeks parking it on a flat street. I pulled it in my driveway for the first time (which has a slight slope down toward the sidewalk/city street behind). Set the rotary dial to park and exited. I came back 8 hours later and the vehicle had rolled about 12 feet down across the sidewalk to the edge of the city street. I pulled the vehicle back up the driveway and this time set the parking brake before exiting. I stood for several minutes and observed a creaking sound as the vehicle continued to slowly roll again. After about an hour it had again rolled 1-2 feet down the driveway even with the parking break engaged. I put split firewood behind the back wheels to prevent it from rolling further. |
