Description of the problem | Dodge ram steering recall alert- this same situation happened to me in my model 2014 dodge ram 1500 big horn. Recall needs to be extended the nut holding the steering knuckle and right control arm separated while driving. I felt a huge pop and jerk of the steering wheel. Luckily i was traveling at a low rate of speed. I took to suncoast dodge dealer immediately, he said i was lucky i could if i was on the freeway which i was shortly before. He said he has never seen a nut fall off before, but it did and, could rolled and caused serious accident. I was charged for repair and picked up truck today 2/5 then saw recall for this exact situation released today by chrysler fiat, but my vehicle was not included. |
