Description of the problem | 2014 ram 1500 driving at 48 mph, tire has a catastrophic blowout. The tire blew from one side to the other in a straight line. Good thing this was on a two lane road and not on a interstate at 75 to 8o mph here in texas is allowed. If this happened on a interstate i would not be here to write this. Now i have check with my tire dealer, he said this is not the first one he has seen. He sent this tire to goodyear. Then i googled this and more showed up. I think goodyear should recall these wrangler p275/60 r20 sa and any other that this has happen to. Maybe ram should go to some other tire for their reputation. I hope no one has been killed because of this tire failure. Picture included. |
