Description of the problem | 5 days after having the truck in for regular maintenance and recalls... I took the truck through an automated car wash. I have taken it to this same car wash several times. I put the truck in neutral, as instructed by the attendant. At the end of the wash, when the green light came on, i put it into drive. It did not move. I tried many times, but without success. Finally the manager came to help me, and he too witnessed that it would not move. We put it into park, and then into drive, two more times before it finally jerked forward. In the meantime, i was hit by the truck behind me, and set off a chain of 5 vehicles colliding. The gear dial said i was in drive each time, but clearly, i was not. I am taking it back to the dealership first thing in the morning. |
