Description of the problem | The "service electronic throttle control" light as well as the "cel" illuminate and the vehicle goes in to limp mode. I had this issue at 3100 miles and it left the vehicle inoperable until a dealership performed a programming flash. Now at 31100 miles the issue has happened again nearly causing me to get t-boned due to the limp mode causing a significant power reduction. The truck has been sitting at the dealership for four days now without any further communication from them. This is a major safety issue that needs to be addressed by ram, my truck has the ecodiesel engine. I have found many other complaints on this same issue across the fiat/ chrysler lineup. |
