Description of the problem | Vehicle low fuel light come on when the vehicle has substantial amount of fuel in tank. Tank is 32 gallons and the low fuel light activates as if it had a standard 26 gallon tank. This problem has been ongoing since i purchased the vehicle in early 2017 i have reported it to fca several times and been told a software update would fix it. Each time they say the update will be coming in a few months but it has never happened. This is not a safety issue as far as possible life threatening, but it is a problem that should have been fixed by now. |
