Description of the problem | 21,000 miles on truck. I have had issues putting gas in through the fuel tube. Gas nozzle will shut off after few seconds, and will spurt back out on to myself. I've had to manually hold the nozzle just on the edge of the fuel tube while holding back the nozzle. It can take up to 15 minutes to fill gas tank. I've had it in to dealer twice after getting frustrated with this issue. They replace the fuel tube, part # omc 68448220aa. It will take gas a few fill-ups then i'll have the same problem . I feel this is definitely a manufacture defect that needs to be addressed. With the gas spurting out it is a safety issue. I've had the truck in to for repairs on 2/24/21 and 1/3/20. |
