Description of the problem | I own a 2018 ecodiesel and when my truck went in for an oil change they did an update called aem or v08 emissions update. After the update my truck no longer accelerates from a stop. It crawls at under 10mph extremely slow aprox. 90 seconds until the vehicle accelerates. This is extremely dangerous i have been in 3 near accidents due to a lack of acceleration. In addition to the lack of acceleration i now get much lower gas mileage. Prior to the update i was getting 27 mpg, now the best i have gotten was 19mpg. I feel this should be against the law, to purchase a vehicle that get good gas mileage and drives they way it did when i test drove it, which is the reason why i purchased it. Only for them to completely change my vehicle after the purchase without my permission is to me a bait and switch. |
