Description of the problem | On october 18, 2018, after driving our 2018 ram 1500 a short distance on city streets, my son pulled into a parking lot when the left rear tire (goodyear wrangler sr-a, p27560r20) suddenly went completely flat. He had not hit anything, and the tire pressure light just came on prior to the tire going flat. The tires were on the truck when it was purchased new earlier this year, and had approximately 11,000 miles on them. The tire had split along the side wall close to the rim, and could not be repaired. The tire was taken to a dodge dealer, who said the tire wouldn't be covered under any warranty even though nothing had been hit to cause the damage. A claim will be filed with insurance. |
