Description of the problem | When you are accelerating in this vehicle and you have to lift from the throttle and then start accelarating again, the truck will not respond. Examples of when this situation frequently occurs are: merging on an expressway, leaving a stop sign or traffic signal, turning left through oncoming traffic and busy stop and go traffic. It always happens in these situations and i feel it is quite dangerous. When the truck was new, i left a stop sign, had to let off the throttle and then get back on it and the truck simply wouldn't move. I had to coast off onto the shoulder and then take off from a dead stop. It has not done it that bad since, but it is still there and a major safety concern. |
