Description of the problem | 2014 ram 6. 4 hemi wrist pin failure - 2nd time in 11 months engine knocking with engine needing replacement 2nd time in 11 months refer to chrysler case #31935958 and #29708254 with 25,000 miles in june of 2016 and 50,000 miles in june of 2017. Both times on vacation pulling a 8,500# 5th wheel on mountain roads. Concerned of engine failure on steep mountain slopes causing a serious safety issue and possible losing control of vehicle and crashing. 6. 4 hemi apparently has a manufacturer's defect n regards to engine wrist pins, which chrysler refuses to address of correct. Both times noticed engine knocking truck was moving on highway pulling a 5th wheel trailer. |
