Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2014 ram 2500. The contact received a manufacturer recall notice for the sway/track bar. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the lock nut was loosely connected. As a result, the bolt was tightened and the sway/track bar was replaced. Weeks later, the contact noticed that the steering wheel was not properly aligned and there was an extremely strong vibration. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer where the tires were inspected and the sway/track bar was replaced a second time. The manufacturer was notified of the failures. The nhtsa campaign number was unknown. The approximate failure mileage was 24,000. |
