Description of the problem | Tire pressure monitoring system & firestone transforce ht 275/70r18 tires i have had numerous problems with my tire pressure monitoring system and tires. My testing is finding a tire pressure variance of up to 15 psi between hot and cold pressures. Originally my truck would give me a tpm warning message with 3 psi variance. Now it has been reprogrammed by chrysler so it requires a 15 psi variance. This concerns me as such a pressure variance places my rear tires at 94 psi. I am very concerned that these tires will break down and we will see a repeat of the 1980's firestone tire problems. |
