Description of the problem | Tire over inflation. Per manufacturer specs the require you to rum 80 psi in rear tire all of the time, even when not loaded, or tpms comes on. This has lead to wearing through tires in less than 20k of driving. Ram has refused to fix the problem or even acknowledge it is one. All tire manufacturer charts say by the unloaded weight of the rear of the truck tires should be at 45 to 55 psi for proper tire ware. |
