Description of the problem | While driving my 2020 ram 1500 laramie with only 5k miles on the odometer, i stopped behind a school bus. The truck's start/stop feature activated as it normally does and the engine shut off. I pressed the dashboard button to de-activate the start/stop feature for the remainder of the trip. When i did this, a loud electrical spark sound occurred and the truck completely died in the roadway. All power was lost, i could not even activate the hazard lights. There was a strong odor of something burning in the cabin. No smoke was visible, though. I had the truck towed to my dealer to be diagnosed and i am awaiting their phone call with that info. |
