Description of the problem | Frequently, when slowing or coasting such as when making a turn or coasting prior to a stop - when it is necessary to resume acceleration their occurs a delay of 2-3 seconds where the drive train doesn't know how to respond. When it finally does it goes into gear abruptly followed by the late response to request for power from the pedal input. In particular this presented a safety issue when i was in a center turn lane getting ready for a left turn off a two lane hwy. When there was a sufficient gap to make the turn the delay caused a few heart palpitations when the vehicle would not respond. I was towing an atv trailer at the time and wanted to speed my entry to the side road i was turning onto. This fault has occurred many times now and is pretty regular. As an engineer i believe this to be a software issue. No updates are currently available. |
