Description of the problem | I purchased the car on 12/26/2018. I have two chips in the windshield, the first coming less than three months (less than 6,000 miles) after purchase and the last one on 10/9/2019. Both occurred while driving the vehicle. The first, on a 2 lane state highway (nj-rt 70 w) traveling about 55 mph. The second was on rt 22 near lancaster, pa going about 35 mph. The first one has been repaired. The second chip will be repaired this week. Both times i heard an object (probably debris/stone/etc) strike the windshield and within a few miles, noticed chips in the windshield that needed professional repair. I've owned at least 7 cars, and have never had experiences where the windshield would chip as frequently as this car. |
