Description of the problem | Here is a model 3 in the junkyard. Https://www. Copart. Com/lot/61748319/photos the front suspension has fallen to bits. The upper ball joint has popped out of its socket. The lower ball joint has snapped its stem. There is very little impact damage to that area of the car, nothing that would account for the suspension falling to bits like that. These tesla suspensions are badly designed and badly manufactured. It is entirely probable that the recent crash of a model 3 in long beach which severely injured a pedestrian was caused by a suspension failure. The wheel on that long beach crash car looks badly whompy. |
