Description of the problem | I realized that my srs lights were staying on. After going through vehicle manual it pointed out that it was due to disabled air bag. I took it to toyota service center to have it diagnosed and they said it was due to faulty spiral cable assembly. It cost me about $550 to get it fixed. I later realized that there were many other toyota cars that were being recalled for the same reason, i am wondering why toyota camry was left out as it seems to have the same issue. I feel that this should be brought to an attention as the lit srs light could have gone unnoticed if i hadn't been cautious. I had to compare it to my previously taken dashboard picture to figure out if it was out of ordinary. |
