Description of the problem | 2009 toyota camry. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle airbag issues. *smd the consumer stated within days after the vehicle was at the dealer for its annual xylon treatment, he noticed the passenger air bag read air bag off. Despite an adult sitting in the front passenger seat. It was not an issue prior to the xylon treatment for the seats. The dealer stated it was likely a short within the seat mechanism. They proposed a repair of the seat track sensors and replacement of the seat belt buckle at a cost of $ 1200 and there was no guarantee given that it would solve the problem and the air bag would be functional. *jb |
