Description of the problem | Consuming excessive oil in two-three months period. I got low oil pressure light on and off when i hit the break hard, then engine check light was on and off. I went to nearest auto store and checked engine oil. It was completely empty, i mean dry. I just couldn't believe it since toyota dealer checked oil consumption test and my car passed the test a few month ago. I was told the auto shop worker that i was lucky because it was so close to burn up the engine. I checked online and many people has the same issue on 2009 camry. Toyota is aware of the issue as well. It should be a recall and it should be fixed by toyota. |
