Description of the problem1. 2009 toyota camry se made a clunk noise from the back passenger side area of rear seat. Got out to see if it was something like a tire. Ended up opening the back door of car to find that it was the seatbelt. There was a knot in the belt and it had retracted forcefully into the opening of the seatbelt slot. The belt will not pull back out, and cannot be untied due to the pulling of the retractor. 2. It has never happened before, we do not use the back seat, so the knot had to have been there since the dealer last june. 3. I was told by the dealership i purchased the camry at that they couldn't help me. I took it to another toyota dealer hoping that the response would be different. It wasn't. The second dealer told me that i was out of luck, and it could be fixed for 300 dollars. I see this as a problem. If this would happen to someone with a child in the backseat and the child was injured, it would be a different story. Until then i would like to report my problem as written above.
