Description of the problem | The vehicle's cluster would start going haywire - with the speedometer going to zero, the rpm fluctuating, and the temperature gauge reading cold, at random times while driving and in motion. The a/c would go out as well, and the brake and abs lights would come on. The car would still run but the cluster would flicker as described. After flickering for a while, it would resume as normal and then happen again as i continued driving. I had my camry inspected and it was diagnosed with a malfunctioning abs actuator assembly. I had another abs actuator put in, and thankfully no one was injured in the car due to the faulty brake system. It was unsafe to drive as the abs was malfunctioning. |
