Description of the problem | The dashboard material started leaking, oozing some sticky gluey fluid that got real worse when it was hot. Driving on a sunny day became very hard since the dashboard was very shiny glare reflected on the windshield and visibility was very low. I thought this was a safety issue & did some google research. I realized i was not alone. I brought this up to toyota attention by an email. They referred me to the dealer. Dealer basically said the car was out of warranty and they need money to fix the issue. This issue is a "defective" material use by toyota. They need to fix this within a "safety" recall. |
