Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2009 toyota camry. The contact stated that there was a sticky residue and a shiny reflection, which impacted the driver's visibility. The vehicle was taken to thompson toyota (1101 business center way, edgewood, md 21040, (410) 679-1500) where it was diagnosed that the dashboard needed to be replaced. The dealer mentioned that the vehicle was included in the toyota dash melting, cracking warranty extension (lsc ze6) program; however, the program had expired. The manufacturer declined to authorize the dealer to cover the repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and suggested having the dealer replace the part. The vin and failure mileage were not available. |
