Description of the problem | Dashboard is starting to melt, crack, chip and become gooey. I have been to the dealership 3 times and on the phone with toyota customer service 2 times, and they both keep redirecting me to each other. I have expressed concerns about the integrity of the airbags since the dashboard is melting. Toyota is aware of the situation and is refusing to assist in any way. Apparently, there was a recall that has since expired, however i was never notified. This causes great concern for myself and others since this is a known factory defect that toyota is not addressing with ease or honesty. A melting dashboard is a great safety concern that could have grave consequences. |
