Description of the problem | Melting dash: i placed this under "air bags" because there is legitimate concern for their operation under the defective dash. Also, the glare from the shininess of the dash is a concern. I purchased it new in may 2008. My daughter has been driving it. The problem came to my attention literally days after the 10-year "warranty extension". I talked to my dealer and directly to toyota and they would not resolve the defective dash. This is still a problem. It didn't go away after 10 years. |
