Description of the problem | In our 2009 toyota camry, there was a temporary dash replacement program. It was considered a warranty extension as opposed to a recall and it was a limited time where owners could take the vehicle back to the dealership and have it repaired during that limited time spa. I purchased the vehicle this past year and upon purchasing and spending a summer in san antonio with my 2009 toyota camry i experienced what the dash recall/toyota replacement policy was intended to repair. The dash turns to mush in the heat and it is very, almost malleable.
