Description of the problem | Since we have purchased this vehicle, both sun visor's have broken due to poor design which utilizes plastic tabs where the visor pivots up and down. The visors subsequently hang down obscuring visibility. We purchased a driver's side about 1 year ago at a cost of $90. 00 and on july 24th the passenger side visor broke and now needs replacing. This will be a cycle, because even the replacement visor has the same plastic pivot. We live in alabama and the summer sun virtually bakes the part. I expect this to continue happening. Very disappointing design. I've owned cars for over 30 years and never known sun visors to break like this. Updated 9/15/15 *ln |
