Description of the problem | 2009 toyota camry. The driver side sun visor dropped to the down position blocking site visibility ( this occurred while the vehicle was being driven and was in motion on a public highway) and it will not stay in the retracted (against the roof) position. It continues to obstruct vision when in the forward position and blocks peripheral vision when swung up against the driver's side window. When the dealer was contacted their representative stated that it is a common and ongoing problem that has not been addressed by toyota. Searches on the internet reveal that this is a problem that has persisted for a number of years. It is highly likely that this problem will lead to vehicular damaged and/or personal injury if it has not already. |
