Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2012 toyota camry. The contact stated while driving at various speeds, the vehicle shook and while changing gears, the vehicle lunged forward. The contact replaced the tires several times attempting to correct the failure however, the failure was not corrected. The vehicle was taken to an unknow dealer to be diagnosed. The failure was with the torque converter. The manufacturer was contacted and the contact was informed that the torque converter warranty had expired. The warranty repair was good for 8 years or 160,000 miles. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 70,000. |
