Description of the problem | While i was driving on freeway at 65 mph, the brake pedal went down to the floor and made a loud grinding sound. The dashboard flashed warning lights "brake" and a 2nd warning of "check brake system". I immediately pulled over and consulted the manual which said stop immediately and contact toyota dealer, which i did. I took the car in to lipton toyota, sunrise, fl (it was near death experience on the freeway). By the time i reached the dealer the brake lights went out. They called later and informed me nothing was wrong. I asked them to recheck as i knew something was wrong since the brake did not function properly and made a terrible noise. They kept the car until the following morning to recheck the car, and again said nothing was wrong. It happened twice one at 22k and another at 24k miles |
