Description of the problem | At low speeds, the vehicle would pull to either the left or right. Dealership reported that the steering angle sensor and motor tested fine. Wound up replacing the car's battery and that corrected the issue. The battery light was not illuminated, and the battery tested within specs but was on the low end of acceptable. Apparently if the battery is low, but still within specs, it can affect the performance of the electric steering motor and or sensor and result in pulling in one direction or the other. |
