Description of the problem | Took car to toyota service station for maintenance. Service station had a hard time getting hood opened. The hood latch assembly was rusted. I was recommended to buy a new one, also advised that next time to get it opened it may have to be broken off. It may be possible that the hood may get stuck in the opened position, or come opened. I did not purchase it. I believe that the problem is a vehicle defect that should not occur and should be corrected. |
