Description of the problem | During mid 30's and below, my car does not get up to operating temperature. It sits near the cold mark and i have inadequate heat output through my vents which makes it very hard to see when i'm driving in the winter months. I have had to pull over several times to clean my windshield because the defroster isn't strong enough to melt the ice. I've replaced the thermostat (former toyota technician) and it still produces the same results. I've talked to some toyota technicians and they have no explanation. Please note in my picture i've attached the 28 minutes of drive time with an average speed of 39 mph with my near cold temp gauge. |
