Description of the problem | Consumer received another recall notice, ssct03, in the mail regarding spilled liquid short circuiting the air bag sensor causing the indicator lamp to illuminate. When consumer contacted the dealer, they informed consumer that they will install a modification kit to prevent a reoccurrence of the problem but they are not obligated to replace the ruined sensor. Consumer would like confirmation that this is within the guidelines of the recall. *jg *ts |
