Description of the problem | My son was driving our 2004 scion xb when the accelerator got stuck. He tried the brakes but could not stop or even slow the car down. He rear-ended another car and the engine was still racing. The only thing that stopped the acceleration was turning the ignition off. This morning when the tow truck operator started the car, the engine immediately began racing, and he quickly shut if off. |
