Description of the problem | For no reason at all my 2019 toyota tacoma sr5 stalled and displayed a "high transmission temp warning". This occurred within a few blocks of leaving my home. A tow was necessary to get the truck to autonation toyota, clearwater for diagnosis and repair. Autonation made no repairs as they said they could not replicate the problem. An online search revealed this high transmission temp warning and stalling has been occurring on tacomas and tundras for the last 5 years. This could pose a very dangerous situation if the stall occurred on a highway or interstate. I |
